Curious About Getting Saved?

It's not about "Christians"...that's the great thing about the message of Christianity.  We're all human- sinners-exactly why we needed a Savior.

It is about Jesus Christ and his gift offering of eternal salvation to you. His sacrifice for you.  He died on the Cross 2000 years ago at Calvary, so that you could have the opportunity to be forgiven of your sins and gain eternal salvation; eternity in paradise, if you choose to.

Claiming the Gift

How do you receive His gift of forgiveness of your sins and eternal paradise? Verbally receive Him as your Lord and Savior and believe that He died on the Cross for you as a blood atonement sacrifice for your sins, and was resurrected by God.

That's it!

Romans 10:9-10

"If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved."

When you receive Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, you receive His gift of eternal salvation for you. You are saved for eternity.  He then continues a personal relationship with you for the rest of your life, as He did before you got saved.  Do you really think it's a coincidence that you are reading this right now?!

He Stands at Your Door and Knocks!

Revelation 3:20 "Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me."

Are you a sinner in need of a Savior? If you are reading this, I believe the Lord has specifically invited YOU here- right now- to accept His gift of eternal salvation, paid for by His only Son Jesus Christ 2000 years ago.

A Ticket to Paradise

Let me ask you this...if someone offered you a ticket to Paradise for eternity..would you turn it down?

God has two tickets reserved for you and anyone else you want to get this message of redemption to.  All you have to do- is claim it...

Say and believe this prayer and you ARE saved no matter what ANYONE else says!

Romans 10:9-10 "If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved."

Not By Works

It is not by your works that you are saved.  Ephesisans 2:8-9 releases you of the bondage of self righteousness. It is only by the grace of God through Jesus Christ that you are saved, not by your works.

Ephesians 2:8-9

"8 For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— 9 not by works, so that no one can boast."

1 John 1:9 (NKJV)

9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

There is no amount of work you can do to be saved for eternity.  You just need to receive Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior to be saved.

A True Friend

It's not just about getting saved though.  When you receive Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, you also gain the most powerful friend you could ever ask for.  Jesus Christ is the most powerful being in the entire universe.  He created the universe!

It's not what you know- it's who you know!  You have the ability right now to talk to the creator of the universe; He can communicate back with you!  Just make sure you preface your communication with Jesus Christ,  "In the name of Jesus Christ."

How To Confirm  Jesus Christ's Will For You:

Jesus Christ is never going to ask you to do anything that is not Bible based; this is a good way to confirm your communications. A good place to start is with the Ten Commandments.

You don't need a pastor, preacher, or religious leader to get saved. You don't need anyone else to intercede.  This is Jesus Christ's invitation to you! He died for you.

He died on the Cross at Calvary to give you the opportunity of eternal salvation,  because He loves you and wants a friendship with you.  He is the only friend who is capable of not letting you down.

The Victor

This doesn't mean that everything is going to always go your way if you receive Him as your Lord and Savior (you'll probably have even more challenges!) But, Jesus Christ will be your ultimate guide and companion-everyday-always with you.

John 16:33 New International Version (NIV)

33 “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”

What Happens if You Don't Get Saved?

If you are still reading this right now and still trying to decide whether or not you need to get saved or receive Jesus Christ as your savior, I hope you do it right now.

If you don't, and I know there are many who won't- and you find yourself in the Tribulation - after the Christians are Raptured.  Remember this verse...

The Rapture

If you get saved before the Rapture, you will go up in the Rapture.  God is going to call us up to into the air before the 7 Year Tribulation of the Antichrist before the return of Jesus Christ to Jerusalem.

 1 Thessalonians 4:16-18 (NKJV)

16 For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord. 18 Therefore comfort one another with these words.

The 7 Year Tribulation

All of those not saved, everyone who chose not to receive Jesus Christ, will go into the 7 year Tribulation.  (Anyone who has died and not received Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior will go to the Great White Throne Judgment.)

Getting Saved In the 7 Year Tribulation

All of those left here for the 7 year Tribulation after the Rapture, will either accept or reject the mark of the beast. Most will receive the mark of the beast and be condemned to the lake of fire for eternity. The mark of the beast will be required by the Antichrist if you want to be able to buy or sell anything.  Anyone who takes this mark automatically goes to the lake of fire for eternity when they die.

Warnings for Taking the Mark of the Beast

Revelation 14:9-12  (NKJV)

9 Then a third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, “If anyone worships the beast and his image, and receives his mark on his forehead or on his hand, 10 he himself shall also drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out full strength into the cup of His indignation. He shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb. 11 And the smoke of their torment ascends forever and ever; and they have no rest day or night, who worship the beast and his image, and whoever receives the mark of his name.”

12 Here is the patience of the saints; here are those who keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus.

Rejecting the Mark of the Beast

Revelation 20:4 (NKJV)

4 And I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was committed to them. Then I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for their witness to Jesus and for the word of God, who had not worshiped the beast or his image, and had not received his mark on their foreheads or on their hands. And they lived and reigned with Christ for a thousand years.

If you do receive Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior in the Tribulation; you refuse to receive the mark of the beast on your hand and/or forehead, you will still have eternal salvation if you receive Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior.

You will be heavily persecuted, will not be able to buy or sell anything, and will probably be beheaded, just as the verse says above, but at least you will be saved if you reject the mark of the beast and you receive Jesus Christ as your Savior.

Your chances of eternal salvation are very slim if you have already had the opportunity right now to receive Jesus Christ as your savior and do not, but I know there will be many who simply will not do it now, so I am including that verse for them if they are still alive after the Rapture happens.

Do it now and you won't have to worry about it!  The Rapture could happen at any second.

Romans 10:9-10

"If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved."

The Great White Throne Judgment

Revelation 20:11-15

11 Then I saw a great white throne and Him who sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away. And there was found no place for them. 12 And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God, and books were opened. And another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to their works, by the things which were written in the books. 13 The sea gave up the dead who were in it, and Death and Hades delivered up the dead who were in them. And they were judged, each one according to his works. 14 Then Death and Hades were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. 15 And anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire.

All of those saved will NOT be at the Great White Throne Judgment!

*If you receive Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, you will not be at the Great White Throne Judgment.

This is the "second death."

Everyone, except those who go up alive in the Rapture, will experience the first death, the physical death.  If they received Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, they will not experience the "2nd Death" the spiritual death- eternal damnation- hell- burning fire- for eternity.

Tomorrow is not guaranteed for anyone.  Don't take that chance. Get saved Now.

1: Corinthians 15:52 "In a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed."
